Nicholas Folland graduated with a first class Bachelor of Visual Arts with Honours from the South Australian School of Art in 1998. Folland has subsequently returned to the School as a lecturer. He has been awarded numerous illustrious prizes, such as the Anne and Gordon Samstag International Visual Arts Travelling Scholarship. The artist’s work has been exhibited extensively around Australia at prestigious locations such as, Gertrude Contemporary Art Space, The National Gallery of Victoria and The Perth Institute of Contemporary Art.

Folland’s work is held in private and public collections nationally, including the National Gallery of South Australia, The National Gallery of Victoria and Artbank.
