Justin Andrews was born in 1973. He lives and works in Melbourne, Australia.

He holds a BVA(Hons) and a Mphil (VisArt) from the National Institute of the Arts, ANU.

Andrews employs the mediums of painting, sculpture, drawing, photography, installation and film within his practice. His work is produced either permanently or ephemerally in both two and three dimensions.

He has has held solo exhibitions in Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney, Amsterdam, Brussels and Dusseldorf, has participated in group exhibitions both locally and internationally and in 2008 was a resident in the Australia Council Tokyo Studio.

He is affiliated with the Inverted Topology collaborative installation group and recently presented a major ensemble of works as part of the exhibition Cubism and Australian Art at Heide Museum of Modern Art.

In May 2010 he will curate and participate in an exhibition with John Nixon and Stephen Bram at Conical Inc., Melbourne.
