Bryan Spier graduated from the Canberra School of Art with in 1998 with a Bachelor of Visual Arts and then completed his Master of Visual Arts in 2005, graduating from the Victorian College of Arts. He has enjoyed success with many solo exhibitions from 1999 – 2009 as well as taking part in many collaborative exhibitions in Australia in Melbourne, Brisbane, Hobart, Sydney and Canberra and also internationally, exhibiting in group shows in Auckland, London and Montreal.

In 2003, Spier was a finalist in the Brett Whitely Studio Scholarship in Sydney. In May of 2009, Bryan took part in a ‘Chromaphobia’ at Ryan Renshaw Gallery.
