Alex Chomicz describes 2009 as 'the hardest year of my life'.  He broke up with his long-term partner, broke his leg, saw his father pass away and his house burn down.  

The focus of this spate of bad luck shifted from himself to his interest in his own friends' perceptions of this.  He decided to explored this by asking them to describe his life as though they themselves had endured it.  Using non-actors as the protagonists, the final work provides the viewer with a compelling insight into friendship, connectedness (and disconnectedness) and the potency of shared experience.
